Designer - Furniture App Specialist (Remote)

Job description

Some of what you will do: Responsible for activities related to design, space planning, and specifications of contract furniture, systems products, and other interior design furnishings. Coordinates and implements detailed space plans to address customer space requirements within allotted time and budget constraints. This position reports to the Senior Designer, Team Lead. Interacts with client account base and prospects, furniture vendors, sales team, design team, project coordinators/order management team, warehouse/delivery/install team and various architectural, design and construction representatives. Specifically, You Will: - Consults and closely collaborates with Sales Team in the layout, design, and space planning of furniture specifications for client offices. Travel to client’s location to confirm critical site dimensions and/or finishes and other project details. - Performs space planning, furniture selection, layout, product pricing, developing standards programs, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, includes as-built drawings, space plans and final installation drawings for specification and installation of furniture. - Provides professional customer interface...
