BASIC FUNCTION: This position contributes to the success of Brookfield Zoo Chicago (“BZC”) by providing services to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and animals contributing to BZC’s goal of providing extraordinary guest experiences. Controls access at gates and assists with protecting BZC’s assets. This is an unarmed, public safety position. No PERC card required. Strong customer service skills and ability to work calmly under pressure and use good judgement a must. Minimum age 16 and valid driver’s license required. This is a seasonal non-union hourly position, grade GS002 with a pay rate of $16.60 per hour.
