ETAP is a 30 bed unit that serves admitted patients from the ED waiting bed assignment. Here, ETAP nurses independently assess conditions and rapidly coordinate multidisciplinary care. ETAP serves not only as an emergency observation unit, but ensures that our patients admitted from the Emergency Department (ED) receive the same exceptional evaluation and diagnostic services they have come to expect from our hospital, before they even get to their assigned rooms.
