Job description
Overview The Process Engineer supports day-to-day foundry operations by improving processes, reducing scrap, and ensuring consistent production of quality castings. This role works closely with production, quality, and sales to troubleshoot issues, support quoting, maintain manufacturing data, and implement practical process improvements across the plant. Compensation: $75,000–$90,000, depending on experience. Responsibilities: - Develop, evaluate, and improve foundry processes for manufacturing metal castings - Identify and implement process improvements to increase production efficiency and reduce scrap rates - Maintain and update Bill of Manufacturing data in ERP system - Monitor and analyze production data to ensure processes are within specified parameters - Design injection molds and necessary fixtures for production parts - Provide sales with engineering assistance for accurate quoting - Collaborate with quality control departments to ensure adherence to quality standards and customer specifications - Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues in a timely manner - Maintain up-to-date documentation of all process procedures and adjustments - Coordinate with maintenance t...
