Position Status: Part time Shift: First Shift (Days - Less than 12 hours per shift) (United States of America) Hours per week: 0 Job Information Exemption Status: Non-Exempt A Brief Overview: The Breastfeeding Center RN provides comprehensive, skilled care and evidence-based information for breastfeeding and human lactation, from preconception to weaning, for breastfeeding families. Performs comprehensive maternal, infant, and feeding assessments related to postpartum care, infant care, breastfeeding and human lactation. Educating families, health professionals and the community about breastfeeding and human lactation. Developing and implementing an individualized feeding plan in consultation with the clients both inpatient and outpatient. Making referrals to other health care providers and community support resources when necessary. Working collaboratively and interdependently with other members of the health care team to deliver coordinated services to families. Education Qualifications: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) Preferred Experience Qualifications: Experience in a clinic setting. Preferred 3 years Neonatal Intensive Care experience.
