Description Main Purpose: The Planner / Scheduler develops, maintains and progresses schedules for the production of generator enclosures. This role is also responsible for developing task duration, predecessors / successor dependencies, indention hierarchy, baseline and critical paths. This position develops the schedule, in coordination with the project manager, general manager, production and planning group. The Planner / Scheduler actively monitors the schedule and is a key driver in remediation / improvement of the schedule. Essential Functions: - Develop and maintain the generator enclosure schedule - Conduct and attend regular meetings / communication with the project / planning team to discuss schedule related issues, improvements and / or changes - Develop and gather information to provide regular updates to the schedule, for the customer per the contract requirements and for the manufacturing shop as needed - Develop resource loading of the tasks to produce manpower requirements - Produce base line and critical path analysis, developing schedule metrics to track performance to schedule - Analyze the schedule regularly and develop a recovery plan / acceleration through use...
