The successful candidate will perform maintenance and repair of lifting devices and equipment. Background: The successful candidate is responsible for providing maintenance and certification services for Government-owned lifting devices and equipment. Responsibilities: - Perform testing and inspection activities on Government-owned LDE per NASA-STD-8719.9. Document non-standard procedures and approvals in the Lab Quality Management System (LQMS) for future reference. - Coordinate with Facility Operations Managers, lab managers, project points of contact, and equipment owners to schedule and conduct tasks, minimizing facility conflicts. - Use standard personal protective equipment (PPE) (hard hat, safety shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses/goggles/face shield, gloves) as required by NASA safety protocols.
