As a Youth Specialist with Samaritas , you’ll provide direct supervision and support to refugee youth in a residential setting—helping them feel safe, valued, and empowered to thrive. What You’ll Do: - Create a family-like environment that models positive behaviors and expectations. - Assist youth with daily routines—meal prep, medication administration, skill-building, and activities. - Provide safe transportation to appointments and monitor overnight activity. - Be a trusted mentor and advocate for youth navigating trauma, displacement, and cultural adjustment. What We’re Looking For: Pay Rate: $17.10/hr Location: Jackson, MI - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Ability to learn de-escalation techniques and become CPR/First Aid certified. - Direct care experience in mental health or working with vulnerable populations preferred. - Bi-lingual in Spanish strongly preferred. - Must be 21 years or older , have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and meet vaccine requirements. - Full time, part...
