Responsibilities The Hospital Services Representative position is responsible for receiving, selecting, packaging, and arranging delivery for blood components. - Maintains a high level of customer service, ensuring that every effort is made to meet the needs of both internal and external customers, including friendliness, understanding and empathy, fairness, providing options and alternatives, and sharing information.• Accurately receive, record, and verify customer orders; when possible, suggest customers substitute short-dated components.• Accurately receive, fill, and pack orders.• Conduct daily deliveries and hospital pick-ups to customers. - Adhere to established procedures for accurately processing component returns.• Maintain proper inventory control methods following current Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).• Updates each component product into systems during delivery returns.• Organizes blood products by expiration dates, and follows SOP to discard expired Product.• Maintains set ranges for outdated RBCs/Apheresis components and contract/Adhoc units.• Report questionable blood products or anomalies to a laboratory supervisor or designee.• Contact hospitals and other cen...
