Job Purpose & Position Overview The Outpatient Clinical Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is responsible for providing the highest quality of customer service for patients and others by performing all duties in a professional and engaging manner. Provides quality care to patients, under the direction of licensed practitioners, promotes efficient operation of the clinic, and provides assistance to physicians and support staff. Qualifications/Skills: - Demonstrate the WCHS core mission, vision and values, respectful of tribal beliefs, culture and traditions. - Functions as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide direct patient care. - Demonstrates knowledge and performs clinical tasks under the direction of a licensed practitioner. - Prepares exam rooms and equipment to facilitate treatment and examination of patients by setting up instruments, equipment and stocking supplies. - Demonstrates proficiency in administration of immunization and other medications under the direction of a licensed practitioner. - Promptly notify Provider of patient condition when necessary. - At the direction of the provider, provides patient and family education to ensure adequate knowledge, awarenes...
