About this role Role Overview: We are seeking a hands-on, execution-oriented Vice President to work directly with the Chief Strategic Advisor to Aladdin on identifying, exploring, and applying AI and new technologies and tools to a broad set of business problems at BlackRock. This role is focused on experimentation, learning, and prototyping rather than ownership of said tools or platform. The prototypes may lead to production implementation which will be done through the appropriate existing teams at BlackRock. The successful candidate may be exposed to a wide range of business problems—spanning investing, operations, client service, distribution, and corporate functions—and will help brainstorm, prototype, and demonstrate how AI can improve productivity and unlock new business opportunities. The position will sit within the broader Portfolio Analytics Group (PAG) team to enable collaboration and sharing of best practices, while reporting both to Strategic Advisor and PAG.
