Retail Operations Assistant Manager (Full Time) DEPARTMENT: Retail: DIRECT SUPERVISOR: Retail Operations Manager: ROLE & LEVEL/GRADE : L1 / 4: SUMMARY: The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science is seeking a Full-time Retail Operations Assistant Manager for the Retail team. This position is responsible for the daily operation of the Science Store, online store, ancillary sales channels including vending and photo booth, future retail locations, and auxiliary sales areas. The role ensures sales goals, service standards, and operational expectations are consistently achieved. A key focus of this role is inventory management across all channels, including receiving, replenishment, stock accuracy, cycle counts, damages, transfers, and system synchronization. As part of the museum’s 365-day operation, this position provides floor leadership, scheduling support, and direct supervision of Retail Sales Ambassadors and Retail Supervisors. The Retail Operations Assistant Manager is responsible for coaching staff, supporting guest service excellence, and maintaining a productive team environment. This is a full-time position.
