Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc (MEPPI) is seeking a Senior Design Engineer with an Electrical Engineering Degree for the Transportation System Division (TSD) to perform engineering and project management activities for design, development, application, customer order design, manufacture, assembly, test, installation and servicing of electrical and electro-mechanical equipment. This position will report to the TSD Engineering Department Manager and is an onsite role based in Freedom, PA. What You’ll Do: - Perform engineering activities that support the design and manufacture of new Transportation Systems Division (TSD) products and the advancement of existing products. - Design new and/or improve existing major system components. - Identify, research and develop products to support new business opportunities. Participate in product planning and MELCO development programs. - Create proposals including budgets, schedules and technical specifications. - Meet with customers and end-users to discuss and resolve technical, financial, and schedule issues.
