In this role, you will develop deep application expertise for strategic key applications of industrial ultrashort pulse lasers. You will leverage this knowledge to help define a compelling value proposition for our customers, drive the continuous improvement of our products, support marketing activities, and contribute to selected sales projects. Responsibilities: Technical: Development of strategic key applications: - Building a deep technical understanding regarding technical requirements, alternative processes, and economic condition - Defining fundamental process principles and boundaries and deriving the required laser parameters - Contribution to the creation of a value proposition as part of the Market Solution Team, consisting of Application, Integration, and Product Management. - Collaboration with international customers to clarify technical requirements, provide support on process-related questions, and demonstrate applications. - Customer-oriented documentation of results. - Involvement in the identification of future key applications for ultrashort pulse (USP) lasers. - Definition of product requirements for the development of new products or the improvement of existin...
