Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel Position Description POSITION TITLE: Engineering Technician Level I DEPARTMENT: Engineering: GRADE/FLSA STATUS: H14 – Non-Exempt: REPORTS TO: Engineering Supervisor: BADGE TYPE/COLOR: Work Permit--Peach: SUPERVISES: N/A: JOB SUMMARY: Perform maintenance and repair of all facilities and equipment to assure a continuous source of light, heat, water, electrical power and temperature control and recommend necessary changes in such facilities or equipment. Provide support to all departments as directed by department manager. JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC, lighting, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems Maintain records of maintenance and repairs using computerized maintenance programs Abide by safety policies and report safety hazards to department manager Participative member of the team by volunteering and being involved in projects, committees, and task forces by providing input and suggestions Respond to emergency and critical situations Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner Endorse the business objectives, ethics and values of C...
