Court Liaison | Dona Ana County Crisis Triage Center | Las Cruces, New Mexico About the Job: The Court Liaison provides coordination of clinically indicated services to individuals and the courts, for patients receiving court ordered services. Covers Court/Hearing procedures. Roles and Responsibilities: · Drafts and submits petitions, notices, affidavits/certificates of service and denial rights motions with the court on behalf of the patient and the facility. · Provides all relevant information from the court hearing to the appropriate department at the facility. · Compiles, maintains and tracks the mental health court appearances and evaluation appointments for all patients admitted to the facility on an involuntary basis. · Communicates effectively with court clerks, court-appointed doctors, public defenders and various court personnel in order to coordinate and deliver correct patient information for hearings and evaluations. · Assembles chart materials for mental health court evaluations and hearings to provide evidence for each patient’s hold. · Communicates patient court progression with appropriate departments at the facility. · Ensures accurate and timely documentation of...
