Job Shift: Days Job Type: Per Diem: The Electrophysiology Tech performs specialized cardiovascular procedures in the Electrophysiology Laboratory (EP), including but not limited to: records hemodynamic pressures and computerized data, operates special X-Ray equipment, burns c.d.’s, assists the invasive/interventional cardiologist with procedures using sterile technique and has knowledge of cardiac medications EDUCATION: Minimum: EXPERIENCE: - Reports for scheduled shift on time and prepared to assume responsibilities. - Attends and participates in meetings and is responsible for information. - Adheres to Corporate, Regional, Hospital and Departmental policy and procedure 100% of the time. - Graduate of accredited program in Radiology Technology, or Equivalent or - Graduate of accredited Cardiovascular Invasive program or equivalent (CCI/CVT) or - Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program - One- year experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, EP Laboratory preferred.
