We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in Manassas, VA. *$5000 Sign on Bonus In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: - Completing repair activities on generators or components - Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner - Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools - Maintain detailed records of service - Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies - Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products - Maintain own tools In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: - Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities. - High Voltage / Low Voltage experience. - Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products. - Basic Diesel Engine experience. - Proficient troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components. - Able to perform repairs on ATS systems and able to perform commissioning on a new ATS installation.
