Your mission We are building a scalable and reliable accounting team across Germany and the US. As Accountant, you take ownership of defined accounting areas and ensure our numbers are accurate, timely, and decision-ready. You will work closely with the Controller and contribute directly to improving and scaling our financial processes. The Role: This is a hands-on role with clear ownership. You will take responsibility for specific accounting areas and help us continuously improve our processes and procedures. We are looking for someone who works independently, communicates clearly, and reliably drives topics to completion. You will collaborate closely with the broader accounting team, finance team, Controller, and CFO—especially during key phases like monthly close. Key Responsibilities: Accounting Ownership: Own defined accounting areas (e.g. payables, payments, fixed assets, or specific flows) end-to-end Financial Statements: Prepare and support monthly and annual financial statements (HGB & GAAP) Consolidation & Reporting: Support consolidation and reporting Monthly Close: Ensure a clean, timely, and reliable monthly close Transaction Monitoring: Reconcile and monitor transact...
