Facilities Operation Technician - Electrical

Job description

As a Facilities Operations Technician II – Electrical , you will support and independently contribute to the reliability, safety, and lifecycle performance of mission-critical electrical systems within hyperscale data centers. In this role, you will apply developing technical depth to maintain system reliability, perform troubleshooting, and support upgrades and operational improvements that protect uptime. Key Responsibilities: Support and maintain electrical standards for high-availability infrastructure, including switchgear, UPS, batteries, generators, grounding, and distribution systems. Perform troubleshooting activities, power quality observations, incident investigations, and root cause analysis for equipment or system issues. Provide operational support for upgrades, retrofits, and expansions, including participation in design reviews, commissioning activities, and operational acceptance processes. Partner with site operations teams to improve maintainability, safe execution of work, and documentation quality, including procedures, one-lines, settings, and test plans.
