Position Status: Part-time Hours: Monday & Wednesday: 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Tuesday & Thursday: 6:00 pm to 12:00 am Hourly Rate: $13.00: Location/Address: 1033 East Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46202 Job Summary: The Janitor keeps the premises of the office building or other commercial or institutional buildings in clean and orderly conditions. Cleans office areas, classrooms, hallways, lobbies, breakrooms/cafeterias, restrooms, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other assigned work areas. Example Duties and Activities: Cleans and disinfects the furniture and equipment. Polishes metalwork. Wipes down walls, ceilings, and woodwork. Washes windows, door panels, and sills. Empties wastebaskets and empties and cleans ashtrays. Transports trash and waste to the disposal area. Replenishes bathroom supplies. Communicates with Goodwill management and customers when appropriate and as needed. Transports small equipment or tools between departments. Sets up tables and chairs in auditoriums or halls.
