Overview This position contributes to the properties success by generating leads and converting them to sales with a heavy concentration in the wedding, local and social market. This position will be responsible for contracting and closing wedding, local, and social catering business. Responsibilities: Produce and manage sales based on leads via incoming phone calls, email inquiries, or internal referrals with the purpose of converting the lead to a sale. Identify, qualify, and solicit new catering business to achieve revenue goals. Produce sales based on previous clients renewing annual events. Meet and greet clients, conduct property tours, and promote facilities and services. Conduct site inspections with potential clients, visiting guest rooms, meeting space, and catering facilities, as well as other property facilities. Distribute, to the necessary departments, detailed information relative to catering activities. Assist in menu planning, preparation, and pricing. Qualifications: Extraordinary networking and client relation skills and good knowledge of the local catering market, including the wedding market and social market.
