As a Registered Nurse, you will provide nursing care to patients in outpatient clinic performing the following duties. This position is full-time, working Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Essential DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (85%) Patient Care (10%) Department Support (5%) Performs other duties as assigned - Explains procedures and treatments to patient to gain cooperation, understanding, and reduce apprehension - Screens patient prior to procedure for any precautions or contra-indications - Educates patient and family about pre, intra, and post procedure care - Administers prescribed medications and treatments (i.e. contrasts and sedations) in accordance with approved standards and regulations for care - Prepares equipment and aids Physician during treatment and examination of patient - Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of patient - Observes patient, records significan...
