Job description

What you will do: - Uphold a genuine regard for safety, ensuring employees understand and follow safety guidelines and recognizing individuals for their involvement - Drive continuous improvement by spending time on the floor talking with operators, completing time studies, verifying/validating SOPs, etc. - Lead projects by gathering information from hourly employees, creating tangible goals and deadlines, and reporting improvements to all employees - Align with Department Managers on priority of projects and provides updates - Audit quality, safety, and environmental housekeeping procedures - Flexible to support a 24/7 operation - Be highly organized and self-directed with an ability to prioritize projects, combined with the ability to provide and receive direction. - Apply analytical and critical thinking skills to quickly absorb new procedures and new industry advancements. Education / professional background: - Four-year technical/Bachelor’s degree or Continuous Improvement Practitioner training with relevant work experience applying continuous improvement methodologies in manufacturing required - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, to work wit...
