Description The Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the tenure track. Applicants must have an M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Teaching responsibilities may include high-quality teaching of CHOP fellows and residents, as well as medical students from the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. Clinical responsibilities may include providing coverage in one or more of three inpatient consultation services: a service focused on children with general infectious diseases, a service dedicated to the care of immunocompromised hosts, and an attending-NP service currently focused on NICU and Orthopedic patients. Clinical responsibilities may also include seeing patients in the Division’s busy outpatient clinical practice. In addition to our General Infectious Diseases Clinic, we have dedicated “partner clinics” to provide collaborative outpatient care to patients with other underlying conditions, including malignancies, bone marrow and organ transplantation, and cystic fibrosis.
