About the team We are a team of skilled accounting professionals within Zillow’s Controller organization who value collaboration, accountability, and a positive team culture We operate in a fast-paced and innovative environment and work directly with teams throughout the Finance organization (including Financial Reporting, Tax, Technical Accounting, Revenue, and FP&A), as well as Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Corporate Applications teams across various product lines. Our team is specifically responsible for completing month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules. We also participate in the annual audit and quarterly reviews performed by our auditors, which includes conducting walkthroughs and preparing PBCs. We additionally support the finance integration of new business initiatives by developing new processes and managing related general ledger close activities.
