Job description

Perform functions to manage the cage departmental operations to ensure compliance with internal controls and gaming regulations. Must exercise good judgment in reviewing internal audit findings and implement corrective action within the limits of established polices. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of Horseshoe Indianapolis Racing & Casino policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards, and Indiana Gaming Regulations. Develop departmental procedures and policies to ensure compliance with internal controls and gaming regulations Investigate shortages and errors, recommended, and implement corrective action to protect company assets. Analyze customer counts and trends to determine necessary staffing levels. Ensure all departmental staff are trained on policies, procedures and methods. Respond to guest complaints or problems and ensure corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence in the future. Review departmental expenses and ensure compliance with the budget. Thorough knowledge of a specified or technical field, such as Accounting, equivalent to 2 years of college. 2-3 years of managerial and cash handling experience is preferred. Must possess basic mat...
