Job description

The Clinical Psychologist, Part-Time, provides on-going evaluation and treatment for persons with disabilities and their families. These services include psychological testing and neuropsychological assessment, cognitive remediation, individual and group psychotherapy, family support and educational interventions. Serves as a consultant for the rehabilitation team, provides in-service training for medical and rehabilitation staff. This individual participates in clinical training seminars, mentors junior psychology staff and provides supervision of externs and interns - Identifies psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues and diagnose disorders, using information obtained from interviews, tests, records, and reference materials and plans appropriate interventions. - Develops and implements individual treatment plans, specifying type, frequency, intensity, and duration of therapy under the direction of attending physician. - Interacts with clients to assist them in gaining insight, defining goals, and planning action to achieve effective personal, social, educational, and vocational development and adjustment. - Discusses the treatment of problems with patients. - Counsels indi...
