Industrial Service Technician

Job description

Industrial Service Technicians are responsible for performing repair and maintenance on containers and/or the vehicle fleet. This position routinely requires moderate to extreme physical exertion and may require prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, and working in awkward positions. Responsibilities of Position: - Perform grinding, cutting, welding and other fabrication or repair work on company containers, compactors, and other equipment in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies. - Performs related work such as flame cutting, bending, forming, beveling, notching of metal and plastic parts. - Performs on-site repairs at customer locations including hydraulic and electrical work. - Perform detail inspections and preventative maintenance on compactors, containers, and equipment. - Cut, weld, and grind steel components using a plasma cutter, torch, and Mig and Arc welding equipment. - Bends steel components using a break and shear. - Fabricates steel components on compactors and containers. - Utilizes standard shop hand tools, measuring devices, and equipment. - Trouble shoot electrical components and able to run ele...
