Subsidiary Steel Dynamics Overview: Electrical maintenance supporting a wide variety of electrical systems. This is a M-F 7am-3pm position. Responsibilities: - Maintain power distribution equipment. - Support Water treatment Facilities. - Assist with departmental mill support and maintenance. - Installation of new electrical equipment and systems. - Assist contractors in repairs and maintenance . Qualifications: Required: - A strong safety record with competent knowledge of electrical safety. - High proficiency with electrical troubleshooting along with critical thinking & problem-solving skills. - Programing experience with Rockwell PLC’s, HMIs, and their associated systems. - Experience with instrumentation and process equipment for measurements of flow, level, pressure, temperature, and other similar devices. - Transformers, switchgear, motors and low voltage motor controls. - Understanding electrical schematics and drawings.
