Prepress Graphics Technician - Flexographic Printing (1st Shift)

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Prepress Graphics Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, preparing, and processing customer-supplied digital files for the flexographic printing process. This position reports directly to the Prepress Manager and plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality print production. $23-$28 per hour based on experience Key Responsibilities: - Perform comprehensive preflight checks on digital files for flexographic printing, identifying missing elements, inconsistencies, or quality concerns, and communicating findings promptly. - Accurately set up and enter new jobs into internal systems to support efficient production workflows. - Prepare and refine customer-supplied artwork in accordance with internal standard operating procedures (SOPs) for customer review and approval. - Conduct thorough digital proofreading to ensure files meet quality and accuracy standards. - Finalize approved artwork for plate production, including trapping, layout setup, and stepping. - Optimize files by adjusting color profiles in Adobe Photoshop to achieve superior print reproduction results. - Appl...
