The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintaining and repairing trailers, with a strong understanding of DOT regulations and compliance standards. This role is critical in ensuring our fleet is maintained to meet both regulatory and company preventative maintenance (PM) standards, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on trailers to meet company PM standards. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on trailers. Ensure all repairs and maintenance meet DOT compliance regulations. Inspect and maintain critical components, including brakes, tires, axles, and hubs. Test and troubleshoot electrical and lighting systems to ensure functionality. Compile detailed maintenance records, repair logs, and inspection reports. Work closely with management to ensure timely repairs and fleet readiness. Stay updated on DOT regulations and company PM protocols.
