Key element of this position will be developing and deploying best practices for day-to-day operations. This includes receiving, storage, inventory control, customer back-to-date recovery, space planning and 3PL management. The leader will be expected to accomplish this through effective mentoring, coaching and lean practices. Key objectives will include safety, quality, productivity, cost, customer service and inventory accuracy. Responsibilities: - Administer all receiving operations, including unloading, verifying, and sorting deliveries to ensure incoming shipments are processed accurately and in a timely manner. - Manage receiving activities including storage, inventory control, customer backorder recovery, space planning, and third-party logistics (3PL) coordination. - Enforce warehouse safety policies and OSHA standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and secure work...
