Position Summary: This Senior Fundamental Trading Analyst supports MPC’s Global Supply Trading and Origination organization by delivering high‑impact crude and heavy products market analytics that directly inform trading, origination, and planning decisions. The role owns end‑to‑end crude and heavy products fundamental analysis, including global supply‑demand balances, flow dynamics, and quality economics, and translates complex market signals into timely, actionable insights embedded within commercial workflows. This position is designed as a key analytics role with direct proximity to trading activity, requiring strong commercial judgment, analytical ownership, and close collaboration with traders, schedulers, and origination teams.
