The Salvation Army Alton IL Corps is looking for a Custodian. Under the direct supervision of the 360 Life Center Site Administrator, the Custodian is responsible for the general maintenance and custodial duties of the 360 Life Center building and grounds. This is a part-time, 27 hours per week, $15.00 per hour. 525 Alby St, Alton, IL Job Objective: This position is expected to advance and support the Mission of The Salvation Army. Under the direct supervision of the 360 Life Center Site Administrator, the Custodian is responsible for the general maintenance and custodial duties of the 360 Life Center building and grounds. Essential Functions: - Perform housekeeping duties including: dusting, window washing, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, vacuuming, spot carpet cleaning carpets, sweeping/mopping, etc. - Make small or minor repairs (e.g., change furnace filters, replace light switches/ballasts; replace faucets, doorknobs, etc.) as necessary and bring major repairs to the 360 Life Center Site Administrator’s attention. - Maintain Corps grounds to include yard work, trash removal, snow removal, lawn mowing and any additional outside repairs as necessary. - Maintain the overall ap...
