Production Planner

Job description

As a Production Planner at our Louisville facility, you will be responsible for creating short- to mid-range production schedules for a mix of make-to-order and make-to-stock products. You will work cross-functionally with purchasing, manufacturing, and logistics to ensure timely production while maintaining optimal inventory levels. This position is critical in supporting Koroseal’s delivery performance and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules for wallcoverings, digital wallcoverings, and dry-erase surfaces. - Utilize System 21 ERP to manage production orders, inventory, and raw material requirements. - Coordinate with procurement to ensure availability of vinyl, inks, and other raw materials based on the production plan. - Monitor work-in-progress and adjust schedules in response to labor, machine availability, or material delays. - Communicate schedule changes and priorities to production supervisors and floor leads. - Collaborate with customer service and shipping to meet delivery commitments and expedite urgent orders. - Track and report on key metrics such as on-time delivery, production attainment, and sch...
