Description POSITION SUMMARY: - To operate lining, molding auxiliary equipment assigned by rotation schedule or supervisor. To properly perform order, color and material changes and machine start-ups/shut-downs. To provide support to Extrusion Department as assigned. This is a Safety Sensitive Position. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Identifies issues, troubleshoots machines to produce quality parts, safely. - Performs order changes: enters startup and shutdown into Delmia Works system. - Enters all downtime reason codes into ERP for tracking. - Verifies raw materials comply with work requirements. - Samples and visually inspects production every thirty minutes, records quality accordingly and puts product on hold by entering process correction. - Performs color changes; notifies supervisor of color change status. - Informs supervisor/lead of substandard production quality. - Checks material quality and calls for more materials if necessary. - Checks that all machine sensors, cap-guides and adjustable conveyors are operating properly. - Informs supervisor/lead of machine problems and fills out maintenance work requests (MRO). - Informs Supervisor/Lead if machines are not capable of running...
