Job description
Primary Purpose Provide in-person speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders, language-based learning differences, and speech-related challenges. The SLP will deliver evidence-based interventions, conduct evaluations and screenings, collaborate with school teams, and support student progress through individualized therapy aligned with ASHA guidelines and IDEA/504 frameworks. Qualifications Education/Certification – Minimum Required Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Texas license from the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR) as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathologist Intern ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility working toward completion (CFY supervision available) Special Knowledge/Skills Knowledge of communication disorders across articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communicationAbility to conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plansStrong skills in documentation, progress monitoring, and report writingEffective collaboration with multidisciplinary school teamsFamiliarity with IDEA, Section 504, and school-based se...
