Job description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Perform inspections on components. - Perform source inspections at facilities. - Prepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspection documents. - Review inspection records received for compliance. - Maintain inspection and measuring equipment. - Prepare and coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s) for nonconforming parts. - Perform other work-related tasks as assigned. - Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS: - High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. - ISO 9000/APIQ1 knowledge preferred. - Quality program knowledge preferred. - Level II Certification in Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) and Penetrant Testing (PT) required. - Acquire and maintain a level II rating in MT, PT, UT, and Hardness NDE testing (Mag Particle, Penetrant, Ultrasonic, Hardness inspections). - Non-destructive examination testing certification level II preferred. - Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in quality preferred.
