Mohs Histotechnologist - SouthPark Dermatology Part-time General Job Summary: Position is responsible for performing duties and providing specialist histotechnical services for Mohs micrographic surgery. This position requires a high degree of precision, critical thinking, and efficiency in preparing tissue specimens while supporting surgeons in a collaborative clinical environment. (This is a part-time position that will support the Dermatology team at SouthPark) Requirements: - This position requires a high degree of precision, critical thinking, and efficiency in preparing tissue specimens while supporting surgeons in a collaborative clinical environment - Prepare and cut frozen sections from tissue specimens using Mohs surgical techniques - Process and embed excised tissues to ensure optimal preparation for histological evaluation - Perform histological staining techniques to prepare laboratory slides accurately - Assure quality control of slides and maintain compliance with laboratory standards and protocols - Document all processes in accordance with the Mohs procedure guidelines and laboratory policies - Interact with patients and clinical staff in a friendly and professiona...
