Department: 11598 Carolinas Medical Center: Mercy - Patient Transport Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: No Hou rs Per Week: 0 Schedule Details/Additional Information: PRN Pay Range: $18.85 - $28.30 Essential Functions: Role models a positive Advocate Health image to patients, visitors and staff by adhering to Our Advocate Health Way. Perform excellence customer service in transporting daily. Provide guest/transport services to include; transports, transfers, discharges, admissions, escorts, materials and equipment including transport of patients with medical devices/equipment (oxygen cylinders, intravenous pumps, PCA pumps, wound vac, etc.) Coordinate activities to guide patients, visitors/guests, and staff to desired designations within the facilities. Posses the ability to adjust the liter flow and determine PSI in an oxygen cylinder as well as the ability to transfer canula tubing for wall unit to/from cylinder.
