Job description

Plant Mechanic – Red Hills Power Plant Job Requirements: Experience in the maintenance of power plant systems and equipment, such as boilers, steam & gas turbines and auxiliary equipment, which includes experience with rotating equipment, pumps, fans, valves, piping, oil / hydraulic systems, conveyors, crushers, and gearboxes. This position is responsible for using and updating plant maintenance records in a computer-based work order management system, Maximo. Education Requirements: - Two-year technical certification, and/or an associate’s degree in a Mechanical discipline preferred or equivalent experience is required. Job Knowledge: - Experience in the Industrial Maintenance field is preferred. - Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, repair and/or replace mechanical equipment such as pumps, fans, bearings, motors, valves, augers, crushers, gearboxes, etc. - You must have the ability to read and understand plant system / equipment prints and drawings as well as read and understand technical literature. - Must have skills to operate power tools and various hand tools in a safe and efficient manner. - Significant welding knowledge and experience is Required.
