Job description

Position Title: Admissions Counselor Job Description: Reporting to the Associate Director of Admissions for Recruitment, the Admissions Counselor participates in all the recruitment activities of the Admissions Office, including promoting the University through high school visits, college fairs, and programs held on campus; reviewing applications as part of a holistic, rolling selection process; and maintaining regular and timely contact with assigned prospective students and families. This position will require frequent travel (0-5 hours from campus) and the ability to work nights and weekends. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Represent Mount St. Mary's University to a wide and diverse audience in high schools and at college fair programs 2. Plan, manage, and execute recruitment travel, which includes about 8-10 weeks in the fall and 4-5 weeks in the spring 3. Establish and cultivate relationships with secondary school counselors 4.
