WIREWAY ASSOCIATE: JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for the efficient operation of one or more assigned production areas to produce sheet metal wireway parts in accordance to customer drawings, internal sketches, or other forms of instruction. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: This description will cover most significant duties performed, but does not exclude other occasional work assignments not mentioned, the inclusion of which would be in conformity with the factor degrees assigned to this job. This job is designed to encompass a range of concurrent and relatively equal responsibilities. - Operate in a safe manner. - Read and understand operations manuals. - Read and understand process instructions and process drawings. - Set up each machine and perform first piece inspections. - Perform quality inspections of work. - Operate shears, punch presses, press brakes, spot welder, roll former, and other fabrication equipment. - Use conventional measuring instruments such as tape measures and micrometers. - Assemble parts. - Operate forklift. - Repetitively lift and carry up to 25 pounds. - Use SAP to enter production and check availability of material. - Maintain a clean and organized work area....
