Pay Range: $26.80 - $40.20 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education. HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital is seeking a Histology Technician or Histology Technologist to play a critical role on the laboratory team. By assisting the pathologist in preparation of frozen section slides fine needle aspirations needle biopsies and the examination of tissue specimens the Histology Technician supports the delivery of high-quality patient care in identifying illnesses diseases and other conditions. Position Specifics: - Department: Lab - Core Function: Laboratory - Schedule: Full Time, 36 hours per week, Day shift, variable hours between 5:00AM-5:30PM - Facility: St. Mary's Hospital - Location: Green Bay, WI Education Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science Degree required. - Bachelor's degree with 30 hours biology and chemistry and completion of National Accreditation Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) accredited histology technician program OR bachelor's degree with 30 hours biology and chemistry and 1 year full time experience in histopathology.
