Position Description At a Glance: Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Starline Team in Canonsburg, PA . The Senior Mechanical Engineer provides leadership in the design, development, and validation of new products. Works under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment. What Will You Do?: - Create innovative, customizable power distribution and monitoring solutions that provides value to.our partners across all markets - Use a systematic, analytically-based approach to concepting, designing, and testing. - Collaborate with the engineering team tasked with the commercialization and launch of Legrand designed products. - Perform advanced mechanical engineering design tasks and provide feedback in support of customer specific customizations of Legrand products. - Assist in directing the testing required, verifying product performance, system integration, and compliance with applicable standards. - Partner with Production, Quality, and Purchasing staff to assure product manufacturability. - Create mentoring relationships with other Engineers - Review the work of others, including Drafters and Engineers. - Collaboration w...
