Job Description As an Amentum Space Exploration Division (ASED) intern, you will work alongside engineers and scientists on hardware development, payload integration & operations, laboratory & test operations, modeling & simulation, space environments, scientific research and propulsion systems for programs like Human Landing Systems, Space Launch Systems and the International Space Station! Overview: Provide engineering intern level support for the Space Launch System (SLS) program on behalf of the Flight and Ground Software Division (ES50). This support will include participation in engineering reviews, Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), technical performance meetings, teleconferences, working groups and/or trade studies. Engineering support tasks to be performed include: Assist with technical integration across SLS elements, diverse engineering and program organizations, and a variety of engineering disciplines such as power, structures, and avionics. Assist in the development of the interface design documentation and negotiation of open requirements issues to ensure closure within the corresponding organizational schedules.
