Seasonal Pediatric Registered Nurse – Med Surg Peds Seasonal Per Diem Agreement Requirements: *Shift: 6:45pm– 7:15am - Individual will work a 8 or 13-week seasonal assignment. - Individual is required to work 3, 12 hour scheduled shifts per week. - Must have 1+ years as an RN in Pediatric Nursing - Candidates must be willing to work with Med/Surg and Pediatric populations Job Description: PATIENT POPULATION: The patient population served can be all patients, including geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and newborn. This also includes services which affect facility staff, physicians, visitors, vendors and the general public. This nurse provides nursing care to those infants, children and adolescents (from one (1) days to 13 years of age) and adults requiring nursing assessment and intervention for patients in out patient or observation status to stabilize an illness or injury. POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the Medical Surgical Leadership and Charge Nurse, the Pediatric Registered Nurse (R.N.) independently provides holistic, individualized care using the nursing process for patients routinely seen on the unit.
