Classification Title: OPS Dental Assistant Classification Minimum Requirements: High school diploma and two years of appropriate experience. Fundamentals of Dental Assisting certification, Radiology certification, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Job Description: The University of Florida College of Dentistry is accepting applications for an OPS Dental Assistant to provide dental assisting and administrative support while contributing to high-quality student dentist education and patient care. Clinical Care Groups are a critical component of the UFCD TEAM Program, and this position is Patient-Centered and Student-Friendly, supporting the UFCD mission to deliver excellence in dental education and patient care. Each Dental Assistant is assigned to a Clinical Care Group consisting of two TEAMS.
