Sr. Technical Procurement Specialist- Electrical Integration

Job description

The Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for leading and executing complex purchasing and supply chain activities that support company operations and capital projects. This role requires advanced technical knowledge of electrical power and control systems and serves as a key interface between engineering, operations, and strategic suppliers. The Senior Procurement Specialist provides subject matter expertise in sourcing, evaluating, and procuring electrical equipment—including switchgear, variable frequency drives (VFDs), motor control centers (MCCs), and integrated electrical lineups—while ensuring cost effectiveness, schedule adherence, and technical compliance. This position reports directly to the VP Operations. Key Responsibilities: Lead technical procurement activities for complex electrical equipment packages, including switchgear, VFDs/drives, MCCs, power distribution lineups, and associated controls. Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and delivery schedules with strategic suppliers to optimize total cost of ownership and mitigate schedule risk.
